candycana@livejournal.com BioWhen I'm not writing teen novels, I'm reading and reviewing them. Or...uh...networking...yeah, that's it...networking on the computer.
My life's merry-go-round includes a husband, two teens, a blind schnauzer, three geriatric cats, a young kitty, a bearded dragon, and several assorted fish. I've taught 8th graders for 20 years - I love Algebra. I am surrounded by teens. They are energizing and fun, and yes, a challenge. My students love to get me off topic and think it's really cool that I have read so many of their books. But as much as I love teaching, I pine for the writer's life of taking my kids to school, working out for an hour or so, then hitting the keyboard all day. That day will come.
